Black Friday isn’t just the biggest shopping day of the year. It’s the day of our annual event we organized for the past 3 years called “Black is Beautiful”. I partnered with Shaheed Rucker of The Changemakers, Gianni Lee of Babylon Cartel, Curt Bryant, Chris Williams & Jt King. BB3 took place in Ardmore, Pa @Primavera.
The event was a major success that bought together students and professionals from various parts of the city. Assembled under one umbrella and draped in all black attire it was a beautiful sight. The event exceeded expectations, however there were capacity issues which served problematic for those who purchased tickets but came fashionably late. We do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
For the most part we all experienced a great night and made black beautiful by enjoying ourselves with exuberance and smiles over the great sounds of DJ Ricochet & artist Iye Yinde(PopulartyIn) on the drums. Thanks for those of who were in attendance, Look forward to seeing you at BB4.

Some say they don’t party in Philly. Well on #11/19 my good folks Ish and Mar of CYL, Monstarz & The Trendsetters brought forth a sexy & mature crowd that hasn’t been on the scene in a while. The concept was an exclusive atmosphere with a VIP area in the sky (top floor) complete with catered food and free drinks. The venue was the amazing art gallery in Old City, The Trust Building and was the perfect backdrop for stylish people. Of course I had my camera, taking flicks of the cool Kings and beautiful women at the event.

Arts, Beats and Eats is a monthly networking event that I throw in conjunction with my homies Shaheed Rucker and Gianni Lee of Bablyon Cartel. It is a event for entrepreneurs and positive people throughout Philly complete with vendors, spoken word artists, food and wine. Each installment is dedicated to a cause or charity. Here are pictures from the last months event in which patrons donated canned goods to a local shelter.

Sir Mickey Rocks (of the cool kids) ft Latif “SS”
You might have heard the name Latif. In 2003 he dropped his 1st single “I Dont wanna Hurt You” off his classic album “Love in the First”. He has written hit songs like “Deserve U More” and “Teach Me” for Musiq Soulchild, ” Damage” by Chris Brown and most recently ” Gone Already” by Faith Evans.
Not only is he a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, he is also a great friend of mine. I had the pleasure of styling him for two recent music videos he was featured in. Check out his video with Young Chris after the jump
My man Don Scott has revamped his streetwear line DNTN and asked me to style the Spring/Summer lookbook. DNTN Brand is a combination of Don’s artistic talent and passion for streetwear. He brings in the varsity look with sweaters, hoodies, tee-shirts and jackets. Check out www.thedntnbrand.com and check out the lookbook shot on the streets of Philadelphia.
