Punk Rock Flea Market

“Everything that’s vintage isn’t hot, everything that is thrift doesn’t make you cool. It’s not about what you wear but its how you rock it”.

That famous quote is the reason why I can appreciate a flea market full of different vendors that only comes around twice a year. The “Punk Rock Flea Market” was held on 9th st between Spring Garden & Callowhill. The semi-annual event was a bit overwhelming for myself, Shaheed & Fajr especially with this being our first time and not knowing what to expect.  There were many great finds but without patience and an eye for a unique patterns and fabrics we might have missed out on some great finds.

My finds of the day were a $10 blazer which I plan to get tailored and a used pair of vintage eye glasses for $5. From the unique people to the vegan muffins being sold at every turn I have to say that  you might just see me at the next Punk Rock Flea Market.
