NYFW: Andrew Buckler Spring/Summer 2012
The Andrew Buckler Spring/Summer 2012 show had to be one of my favorite shows of NYFW so far. Seems as through everybody from Nickelson Wooster, Singer Miguel & fellow male bloggers Josh & Travis of Street Etiquette were all eager to see Andrew Buckler’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. It was exciting watching the many stylish people walk up to attend this menswear show in the Meat Packing District. This was my first time attending a Buckler show and looking at previous shows I knew I didn’t want to miss it.
Launched in 2001, Buckler has stayed true to its original aesthetic: English Bloke meets New York. The designs are tailored, versatile, masculine and sexy, brought to life with quality textiles from the U.S. and Italy. Buckler sells throughout the US, Canada & UK and on April 12th, 2005 Andrew made New York’s Meatpacking District the home for his first flagship store. Three more locations have opened their doors since.
Buckler is a menswear line which melds the roguish American icon with a Brit edge. Designer Andrew Buckler disregards the universal monotony which plagues menswear, evading uniformity by superimposing eccentric undertones with classic silhouettes.
