A King’s Wardrobe: California Love

” The colors don’t make the man, the man makes the colors.” – Young King
When you think of a King what’s the first thing that comes to mind, a strong masculine man of power with a deep voice that is charming? Maybe? Maybe not? A King is a gentleman who is highly respected in some fields, carries himself with the utmost dignity and holds a preeminent position amongst competitors. It is the 21st century and I can assure you that the idea of a King has changed drastically. Not looked upon as someone sitting on a high throne, I do not look for the approval of others, being a King is a mindset.
A King’s Wardrobe: Fashion Hippie

Fashion Hippie: n; A person who is easily recognized among the social norm through positive rebellion with his own style.
When fighting the stereotype reminiscence of the 60′s age of Flower Power inspires my floral patterns. The main thoughts extracted from the hippie was to be yourself & to influence society into a safe place. They dressed in a way that was comfortable, had often bright colors which was decorated by flowers. This was a promotion of peace. The gratitude of a free man shown in his outer appearance can change society. In other words, The outer directly affects the inner.
#Peace!

Smilest: noun; a person who brings positive energy with their smile
For this trip I allowed the tranquil background to set the mood for my wardrobe. Bringing out the floral print which has been long over due, letting sand run through my canvas sneakers and hearing waves crash before me was my idea of paradise. Pairing that with a bright smile and a bright outfit brings inner peace. K.R.T.

Sub-Urban: n; A sub-culture to the typical Urban market that gives cutting edge style to suburban influenced apparel.
Fashion is ineffable. Being able to switch up your appearance with a mixture of preppy, contemporary, modern, vintage inspired, shows ones versatilty and ability to adapt. One must give creativity top priority over the variables that may hender ones style, such as specific trends, budget restraints, or even saturation in the market…

Some take the winter season lightly and only get dressed in the summertime, however the true mark of a stylish person is one whose style transcends seasons and elements. Having a solid foundation and building upon it with layering is key to surviving winter with a stylish facade.
