On Friday, January 15, The African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) and KRT (Kings Rule
Together) present the “INSPIRE” series MLK edition. This intimate discussion style event designed to motivate, uplift and spark forward thinking. Each edition presents a different guest speaker from authors, philanthropists, fashion, film makers, poets, etc having candid conversations about life, success and love.

Part of AAMP’s MLK Weekend sponsored by Citizens Bank, the January 15 event brings together a group of local influencers that all embody MLK-inspired principles in their daily work and lives – from economic empowerment and social entrepreneurship to community investment.

Here’s a list of our panelist;

  • Greg Corbin, Founder P.Y.P.M. (Philly Youth Poetry Movement)
  • Kahiga Tiagha, Member, Tiagha & Associates.
  • Abdul Malik Amari, Teacher & Presdient SMDV (Stop The Madness Stop The Violence)
  • Shaleah Lache Sutton, President & Founder of UNIQUELY YOU SUMMIT, INC.
  • Mike Gross, Owner of MG Enterprises.
  • Idris Robinson, Assistant Director for the Office Global Health within Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University and Creative Director for Kings Rule Together

The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a mixer and complimentary refreshments for all guests will be served. Philly-based visual artist Arm of Casso will provide a live art painting demostration throughout the event.

Doors open at  6:30 pm and the panel will begin promptly at 7:30 pm. This is an ALL AGES event. Dress style is casual, but most certainly to impress.
